1. Improve the surface smoothness of galvanized sheet
After smoothing, the flatness of the galvanized sheet has been improved to a great extent. The wave shape of the galvanized sheet is largely eliminated, and at the same time, slag particles or other uneven spots on the surface can be flattened, making the overall surface smooth and flat. This process significantly enhances the appearance quality of galvalume coil steel.
 
2. Adjust the surface roughness of galvanized sheet
By precisely controlling the roughness of the work roll surface of the finishing machine, the original uneven roughness of the galvanized sheet surface can be unified to a certain ideal range. This not only improves the paintability of the final product but also enhances lubricity during subsequent processing, making galvalume steel coils more suitable for high-end applications.
 
3. Improve the surface color of galvanized sheet
For small zinc flower and non-zinc flower products, the smoothing process can help the galvanized sheet achieve a more uniform and consistent gloss surface. For some manufacturers using large zinc flower products as color-coated substrates, the prominent zinc flower bumps formed by crystallization and the varying glossiness of large zinc flowers can be effectively flattened and unified. This makes the zinc flower pattern blurred and less noticeable, which is highly beneficial for subsequent cover zinc flower treatment during painting of galvalume coil steel.
 
4. Improve the processing performance of galvanized sheet
Through the smoothing process, the yield platform of the galvanized sheet can be eliminated or made less obvious, effectively preventing metal slip lines in subsequent processing steps. This improvement greatly enhances the overall formability and processing performance of galvalume steel coils, meeting the strict requirements of modern manufacturing.
