1. Application of steel structure industry
Hot-rolled galvanizing is mainly used in the steel structure industry for light steel structure houses and workshops. The main building frameworks are all galvanized cold-formed steel, mainly C-shaped steel, Z-shaped steel, floor bearing plates and steel gutters, thickness specifications Mainly 1.5-3.5mm. Due to its light weight, high strength, beautiful shape, fast construction, less pollution, and good wind and earthquake resistance, steel structure buildings are environmentally friendly "green building materials". The use of steel structures in workshops and civil residences in developed countries has become a trend in architectural development. In my country, steel structures in construction are still in their infancy and have great potential for development. According to data from Taiwan, the ratio of color-coated plates and hot-plate galvanizing in construction is generally 5:1. Based on this calculation, the demand for the hot-plate galvanized sheet market in my country is about 600,000 tons. Since there is currently no domestic production capacity for hot-rolled galvanized sheets, and imported products are far from meeting the market demand, the most widely used steel strip galvanized sheets produced by small galvanizing plants are affected by production conditions and processes. Due to technical limitations, its products cannot meet market demands in terms of surface quality, galvanizing amount control, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
2. Application of steel silo industry
Compared with the original traditional storage container, the steel silo has the advantages of fast construction speed, good air tightness, high strength, less floor space, low cost, novel structure, and beautiful appearance. More than 80% of the steel in the granary is a hot-rolled galvanized steel strip with a thickness of 1.0-1.4mm and a width of 495mm (2.5-4mm accounting for 75%), the material is Q215-235, and the galvanizing amount is >275 g/m2. The sewage treatment tanks of urban and industrial sewage treatment systems mainly use 4.0mm galvanized sheets.
The hot-rolled galvanized sheet is 3.0X480 galvanized sheet and strip in the highway guardrail, and the material is Q235. According to the forecast of the transportation planning department, in the next ten years, an average of more than 2,000 kilometers of highways will be built throughout the country every year, and 136,000 tons of galvanized sheets will be required. Considering the renewal and maintenance of natural and accidental losses, it is estimated that the construction of highways will require galvanizing every year. The board is more than 150,000 tons.
3. Application of railway passenger car carriage manufacturing industry
Hot-rolled or cold-rolled galvanized sheets of 1.0-3.0mm are required to manufacture the outer shell, inner shell, and top and bottom plates of passenger cars. The hot-rolled galvanized sheet replaces the cold-rolled sheet, which simplifies the process, speeds up the manufacturing cycle of the vehicle, and prolongs the service life of the vehicle. The average consumption of hot-rolled galvanized sheets per passenger car is 15 tons, of which 1-2.75mm is 4.5 tons. The annual passenger car manufacturing capacity in the country is about 10,000, and it is estimated that about 45,000 tons of hot-rolled galvanized sheets are required.
4. Application in the automotive industry
The consumption of automotive coated steel plates in developed countries has accounted for more than 60% of the consumption of thin plates. In recent years, my country's automotive industry has developed rapidly. It is an inevitable trend to widely use plated plates as automobile body panels to improve anti-corrosion performance. From the perspective of the use of galvanized sheets in automobiles, there are more specifications and a larger amount of use, which are mainly used in the bottom plate of cars, various beams, beam reinforcement plates, supports, brackets, and connecting plates. Because it is used in concealed parts, it does not require high surface quality and deep drawing performance, so some parts can be processed by hot-plate galvanized sheet instead. The car's consumption of hot-dip galvanized sheet is mainly 1.5-3.0mm.
5. Replace cold rolled galvanized sheet
At present, domestic galvanizing manufacturers produce about 120,000 to 140,000 tons/year of galvanized steel over 1.2mm. According to relevant experts, there is little difference in performance between cold-rolled baseplate galvanized sheets and hot baseplate galvanized sheets. Galvanizing the substrate has obvious cost advantages. Theoretically speaking, hot galvanizing of substrates can completely replace cold substrate galvanizing products.
