The technical requirements for hot-rolled strip steel mainly include 4 aspects, namely dimensional accuracy, plate shape, surface quality and performance.
1. Dimensional accuracy
The dimensional accuracy is mainly the thickness accuracy, because it not only affects the use performance and the subsequent process of continuous automatic stamping, but also the most difficult control in production. In addition, the thickness deviation has a great impact on saving metal.
2. Board shape
The shape of the board should be flat, and it is easy to use without wave shape. However, because the plates and strips are wide and thin, and are particularly sensitive to uneven deformation, it is not easy to maintain a good plate shape. The thinner the plate or belt, the more sensitive it is to uneven deformation, and the more difficult it is to maintain a good plate shape. Obviously, the bad shape of the plate comes from the uneven deformation, and the uneven deformation often leads to uneven thickness. Therefore, the shape of the plate is often directly related to the thickness accuracy.
3. Surface quality
Plate and strip steel are the steel with the largest surface area per unit volume, and they are mostly used as peripheral components, and the surface quality must be guaranteed. Surface defects not only damage the appearance of the board, but also often deteriorate the performance or become the source of cracks and corrosion, and become the weak link of stress concentration.
4. Performance
The performance requirements of plate and strip steel mainly include mechanical properties, process properties and special physical or chemical properties of certain steel plates. Generally, structural steel plates only require good process performance, such as cold bending and welding performance, but the requirements for mechanical properties are not very strict.
